Composed by Daniele Muratori Caputo

This pilgrimage begins where a Himalayan storm collides with the mud of the Ganges and sun-warmed herbs. SPIRITICA Atmayatra already by its name combines the Sanskrit words atma, soul, and yatra, journey.

Holy basil tulsi, cardamom, and peppermint open the extrait green, pungent, and almost intoxicating. Cannabis indica enhances the feeling of wild herbs, far from gentle aromatic freshness.

Ozone and aquatic notes then bring a sudden change in weather. Rain, petrichor, river mud, and earthy notes create a wet, mineral layer as if a storm has just fallen on the Chiribasa valley near the source of the Ganges.

Daniele Muratori Caputo places the scent in northern India, among the Himalayan peaks and the story of Babaji, a centuries-old sadhu to whom legend attributes immortality and the preservation of Vedic knowledge.

Incense and benzoin then warm the wet earth, while Indian sandalwood, patchouli, honey, and Madagascan vanilla create a fuller base. The sweetness does not erase the mud or the greenery; it merely envelops them in a resinous warmth.

Atmayatra is not a peaceful scent for meditation. It is tulsi and cannabis under an icy rain over river mud — a journey of the soul across terrain where shoes are sure to get dirty.

Several people confirmed that the cannabis scent is pronounced but tolerable, with mint and rounded sweetness in the dry-down.
