Composed by David-Lev Jipa-Slivinschi

Cherry, energy drink, and a burst balloon enter the club before the doors close on smoke, latex, and bodies. TOSKOVAT' Born Screaming smells like a communal dance that simultaneously saves people and pushes them towards self-destruction.

Cherry, blackberry, physalis, and energy drink give the opening a tart, fluorescent sweetness. The DVD case accord and burst balloon immediately introduce plastic, like the scent of cheap objects under cold club lights.

Latex, adult toys, saliva, and a dance club accord create a carnal middle. Smoke, datura, rose, boronia, freesia, and mignonette emerge from the darkness like flowers only smelled when you get close to another person.

David-Lev Jipa-Slivinschi writes about people gathering around the same dance for thousands of years, while the elders no longer hear the same melody. Words are not important; the body keeps moving out of inertia because standing still is even more dangerous.

Myrrh, styrax, cabreuva, patchouli, castoreum, and ambrette seeds later darken the plastic and fruit. A pearl necklace remains as a cold, smooth detail in a warm, sweaty, and animalic drydown.

Born Screaming is not a perfume for a tidy night out. It is cherry spilled on latex, smoke, and pearls on the dance floor — an absurd dance that must not stop.
