After a tropical storm, the jungle doesn't smell refreshed, but even more intense: wet leaves, flowers, and fruits seem to have suddenly opened up. ZOOLOGIST Chameleon Tropical Blooms Edition captures precisely that saturated moment.
Ylang-ylang, banana leaf, and bergamot open the extrait in a floral, green, and sparkling way. The banana leaf provides a moist tropical surface beneath the rich ylang-ylang, while bergamot briefly illuminates the entire picture.
Pink guava and passionfruit bring a ripe, sweet-and-sour pulp. Jasmine and orange blossom connect the fruits with ylang-ylang, so the middle feels like dense air between the canopies rather than a simple fruit blend.
Antoine Lie depicts the chameleon as a master of disguise, quietly waiting among vibrant colors. One flick of the tongue breaks the tropical idyll, after which the animal disappears back into the leaves.
Cedarwood, sandalwood, and vanilla soothe the finish into a warm, creamy base. The fruit loses some of its juiciness, the ylang-ylang becomes softer, and the wood leaves a dry support beneath the moist jungle.
This version is not just a louder Chameleon. It's ylang-ylang among banana leaf, guava, and passionfruit after a storm — a scent that flashes with color and then blends into a branch.
