Dreamers

The sixties bathroom here is not a place for morning routines, but a confined space of voyeurism, youth, and first experiments. MOTH AND RABBIT Dreamers smells of cold aldehydes, powdery flowers, incense, and skin just discovering its own desire.

Geranium and aldehydes open the composition bright, clean, and somewhat metallic. Violet, lily of the valley, and rose petals then create a delicate, vintage floral veil.

Iris brings a cool powdery center, while Siamese benzoin and tonka slowly warm its surface. Cedarwood, combined with iris, provides a drier structure, like a cabinet full of cosmetics and clean towels.

Mark Buxton finds inspiration in specific moments of sexual experimentation and observation. Innocence and sensuality are not opposites; in this fragrance, they coexist and make it more tense.

Patchouli, frankincense, musk, sandalwood, vanilla, and myrrh later darken the bathroom's cleanliness. The powder becomes warmer and more corporeal, while aldehydes remain as a cold reflection on the mirror.

Dreamers is not a retro floral perfume that merely quotes the sixties. It is iris and violet on a fogged mirror, with incense and warm skin — innocence caught in the middle of an experiment.
