Two people don't have to sing loudly to be heard as belonging to the same song. THE GATE Duet II builds a relationship of tenderness and depth through nutmeg, tobacco, suede, and vanilla.
Nutmeg and jasmine open the perfume dry, spicy, and slightly floral. Jasmine does not seek attention but softens the sharpness of the spices before the resins arrive.
Olibanum introduces an airy smoke, while tonka and musk create a warmer, softer core. The composition does not rely on great contrast, but on the way the materials approach each other.
Marc Daniel Heimgartner signs a fragrance conceived as a rare alchemy between two souls. The idea of a devoted duet is expressed here with a tenderness that is not weakness but a way to stay close.
Suede, tobacco absolute, cedar, musk, and vanilla absolute later provide a fuller, tactile finish. The tobacco remains smooth, the vanilla warm, and the suede connects both like a soft surface between skin and wood.
Duet II is not a loud declaration of love. It is tobacco in suede, olibanum, and vanilla absolute — two lines that come so close that you eventually hear them as one.
