There's a rusty coin in the pocket, but the well is gone. TOSKOVAT' Empty Wishes Well smells of the childhood habit of tossing wishes into the water after the water, prayers, and marble have long since dried up.

Rusty coin and petrichor open the extrait metallic, damp, and cold. Rain feels like a promise on soil that hasn't seen it in a long time, not as a refreshing aquatic accord.

Myrrh, dry leaves, and dusty marble create an abandoned, almost sacred space. Sage adds bitter herbal greenness, while earth and patchouli slowly bring back a sense of life.

David-Lev Jipa-Slivinschi writes about dried-up wells, a moldy holy water font, and prayers turned to dust. Money no longer grants wishes, but hope stubbornly persists.

Javanese and Haitian vetiver, amyris, galbanum, and carrot seed later provide a rooty, dry base. The metal recedes, and wet soil becomes more prominent than empty marble.

Empty Wishes Well is not a perfume of lost faith with no way out. It is a rusty coin on dusty marble as the first rain seeps into the earth — a wish cast even though the well exists only in memory.
