CO2 coffee, blackcurrant absolute, bergamot, and clementine open the extrait dark, tart, and luminous all at once. Neroli introduces a bitter floral thread towards the tuberose absolute.

Gardenia, jasmine, and fig milk enhance the creamy whiteness of the flowers. A note of toasted bread alongside the coffee creates a warm, almost morning contrast that makes the opulent tuberose stranger and more carnal.

Bertrand Duchaufour builds the composition around an impossible community of beings — a movement towards the other that is simultaneously a movement away from oneself. The tension is felt precisely in the materials that want to merge but retain their own character.

Atlas cedar, fir balsam, tolu, benzoin, musk, vanilla, heliotrope, ambergris, and patchouli create a wonderfully rich base. The flowers descend into resins, while the coffee remains a dark crack through the brighter composition.
