Goat

The goat here is not on a pristine alpine meadow. It digs through wet vegetation, carrying mushrooms and truffles on its fur, leaving behind milk, skin, and moss. WOLF BROTHERS Goat is deliberately dark and wild.

Goat milk, mushroom, and truffle open the composition creamy, earthy, and unusually animalic. The milk is not sweet; it carries a sour warmth that makes the mushrooms even more damp.

Osmanthus and violet leaf add a floral-green nuance, while coniferous wood and patchouli build a forest framework. Cumin and clove then bring a spicy body warmth.

Laurent Marrone shapes the perfume around fur, leather, and undergrowth. Cedar, moss, and vetiver smell of scraped bark and soil, far from a neat woody composition.

Costus, oud, leather, and a fur accord later enhance the animalic depth. Milk remains as a pale, warm haze above dark wood and damp moss.

Goat is not a milky gourmand nor a cute forest miniature. It is goat's milk over truffles, costus, fur, and oud in wet moss — an animal that has returned from the forest dirty and thoroughly content.
