Ichigo Ichie
Note
Composed by David-Lev Jipa-Slivinschi
One encounter, one moment, an entire lifeline that you later try to piece together from lost photographs and empty train stations. TOSKOVAT' Ichigo Ichie smells of a beauty that happens only once and therefore constantly eludes translation.
Buntan, nashi pear, ume, and hibiscus open the extrait bright, sour, and fruity. Sakura, hydrangea, and angel's trumpet then spread an almost unreal park of flowers.
Tiger lily, iris, water lily, and bleeding heart give the middle color, while cream soda introduces an unusual sweetness. Black tea, rooibos, and steam evoke waiting rooms, travels, and a brief warmth between departures.
David-Lev Jipa-Slivinschi weaves the story from an abandoned amusement park, a burned bridge, a film box left in a hotel, and 24 lost photographs. Two people move through new cities and temporary homes, connected by something they only understand years later.
Oshiroi powder, hinoki, redwood, musk, amber, incense, and silk later create a dry, quiet finish. The fruit fades, and wood and fabric remain as objects preserved by memory.
Ichigo Ichie is not a Japanese garden perfume. It is nashi pear, black tea, and sakura among lost photographs, steam, and silk — one moment that happened only once, but took up an entire lifetime.
