Stromboli doesn't stand still; even when it appears quiet, the same force that created it is at work beneath. MENDITTOROSA ID is dedicated to that raw, living energy which the islanders call Iddu.

Ravensara, iris, and violet open the extrait aromatically, coolly, and powdery. Jasmine adds warmth to the flowers, while birch introduces the first smoky trace.

Labdanum comes in an overdose, giving the entire composition a raw, resinous mass. Siamese benzoin and Ceylon cinnamon warm this volcanic layer without a polished gourmand effect.

Amélie Bourgeois and Anne-Sophie Behaghel build ID as part of the trilogy Alpha, Omega, and Id. While Alpha and Omega are two sides of the same entity, Id represents the eternal energy of the active volcano and the spiritual home of founder Stefania Squeglia.

Ambroxan, oud, precious woods, Indonesian patchouli, and white musk later create a dark, mineral base. Iris remains buried beneath resins like a flower under volcanic sediment.

ID can be worn alone or layered with other parts of the trilogy. Alone, it leaves iris beneath labdanum, birch, oud, and the black soil of Stromboli — the scent of a force that drives a dream before you understand it.
