Composed by Miguel Matos
Insomnia as a luxury only makes sense when the night is better than sleep. KINETIC Insomnia leads from a smoky leather room to cold air, gin, the sea, and sweet lips found in the dark.
Instead of a light introduction, leather and tobacco immediately take up space. They are dense and dark, but lemon and juniper berries cut through the smoke with a dry, sparkling accord that truly evokes gin.
Marine notes arrive like unexpected doors to a beach. They don't make the extrait neatly fresh: with cypriol and patchouli, the water feels nocturnal, and the dry smoke of an imaginary fire remains at the edge of the composition.
Miguel Matos has composed the perfume as a series of nocturnal apparitions. Music leads through corridors, space opens to the ocean, and the energy of a crowd takes over just when you think you understand where you are.
Amber, woody, and sweet notes warm the skin over time. The lemon loses its initial sharpness, the tobacco becomes softer, and the sweetness clings to a salty trace without turning everything into a dessert.
For a neat, quiet bedtime scent, choose something else. Insomnia is a leather jacket soaked in gin, sea air, and beach smoke — that night when you only return home when it no longer makes sense to lie down.
