Composed by Julie Dunkley

A rose in a secret society does not come without rules, steel, and a decision to enter of one's own free will. JOUISSANCE La Bague d'O transforms the literary tale of surrender into a blend of flowers, metal, leather, and animal warmth.

Steel chains, pink pepper, and orange flesh open the Eau de Parfum cool, spicy, and juicy. Metal is not a background embellishment; its tension immediately changes how you perceive the sweetness of the orange.

Geranium, jasmine, rose, and violet then build an elegant floral heart. The rose is central, but it lacks the innocence of a fresh bouquet: pepper raises its pulse, and steel leaves a cool ring around the petals.

Julie Dunkley finds inspiration in "Story of O," a novel written as a series of letters from Anne Desclos to her lover and published under the pseudonym Pauline Réage. The book depicted female sexual imagination as more subversive and independent than was expected at the time.

Amber, animalic notes, musk, and patchouli later warm the composition. The flowers draw closer to the skin, the metal becomes quieter, and the rose gains a dark, earthy, and carnal shade.

La Bague d'O is not a romantic rose for a safe date. It is a rose locked with a steel chain, alongside pepper, musk, and animalic leather — a scent as a sign that you belong to a society whose rules are not explained at the door.
