Immortelle Rose Indonesian patchouli leaf Nutmeg Clove Black pepper Algerian geranium Cashmere wood

Composed by Anne-Sophie Behaghel

The zero card of the tarot has no baggage and no guaranteed outcome; it has only a step towards the edge and enough defiance to take it. MENDITTOROSA Le Mat smells like a talisman for that moment: earthy, rosy, spicy, and utterly untamed.

Nutmeg, black pepper, and clove open the extrait with a warm, dry punch. Egyptian geranium adds a green-aromatic edge before the Grasse Rosa Centifolia emerges.

The rose here is neither delicate nor neatly romantic. Indonesian patchouli explodes beneath it with sweet earth, while Spanish immortelle introduces a strange, dry warmth that gives the flower an almost balsamic skin.

Anne-Sophie Behaghel ties the composition to the Fool, a traveler and a card marked with zero and the number XXII. It represents an ending and a beginning, chance and movement: you turn the card, embrace the unknown, and move forward with what you have.

Cashmere wood later calms the spices without removing the patchouli's depth. The rose darkens, the immortelle dries, and the entire trail acts like a protective chypre wrap; Luca Turin gave it five stars in his 2018 guide.

Each clay stopper by Alessandro Reggioli bears the artist's fingerprints, and a small bell announces the arrival of the Fool. Beneath it is a rose rooted in patchouli, clove, and Spanish immortelle — a tarot card not to be read, but worn.

Several people have confirmed a lavish, spicy rose with immortelle, which gives an impression of pure decadence.
