Cherry Petitgrain Bergamot Neroli White chocolate Cypriol oil or nagarmotha Orange blossom Laotian oud Oud Vanilla Amber Musk

Composed by Christian Carbonnel

White chocolate poured over oud sounds like a clash that shouldn't work. SARAH BAKER Loudo finds its character precisely in that discord: the precious wood remains dark and austere, while fruits, flowers, and sweetness constantly provoke it.

Bergamot, neroli, and petitgrain open the extrait green and radiant. Black cherry then enters juicy and dark, rich enough to immediately make the citrus opening cease to feel innocuous.

Cypriol adds a dry, earthy depth, and orange blossom binds the fruit to creamy white chocolate. The gourmand aspect is not a finishing touch; it is at the very heart, softening the edges without concealing the leathery, woody character.

Christian Carbonnel uses real oud from Laos and Suyufi agarwood to achieve an abundance of different agar nuances. One appears dark and balsamic, the other drier and sharper, so the formula does not smell like a generic sweet "oud accord."

Musk, amber, and vanilla later extend the white chocolate and warm the wood. The cherry recedes, but its dark color remains over the oud like a luminous coating.

Loudo is not for someone who wants an ascetic agar or a light cherry gourmand. It is Laotian and Suyufi oud with black cherry, orange blossom, and white chocolate — sweet, leathery, and devilishly woody all at once.
