Musc Couture

Scissors cut through the fabric, the pleat moves, and musk glides along the skin like silk that still remembers the tailor's hand. JACQUES FATH Musc Couture haute couture does not showcase flowers, but texture, fruit, and controlled animality.

An accord of red banana, cherry, and bergamot opens the Eau de Parfum juicy, unusual, and bright. The banana is creamy, the cherry darker, and the citrus cut prevents the fruity opening from becoming sticky.

Musk then spreads like smooth fabric on the body, with slightly animalic and enveloping sides. CO2 extract of vanilla bean and raspberry add sweetness, while ambrette seeds enhance the naturally bodily feel.

Jean-Christophe Hérault answered the challenge of creative director Rania Naim: to transform Fath's glamorous dresses, pleats, and flowing silhouettes into the scent of material coming to life under the scissors. The house thus returns to the self-taught couturier who taught future great names in fashion.

Ambertonic™, Healingwood, vetiver, and musk later provide a woody, modern structure. The fruit becomes quieter, the vanilla warmer, and the finish remains smooth and dynamic like fabric in motion.

Musc Couture is not a clean white musk for the scent of freshly laundered linen. It is musky silk with red banana, cherry, ambrette, and a vetiver cut — a Parisian dress captured at the moment the scissors touch the fabric.
