The rose here has no vase or morning dew; it is surrounded by saffron, clove, frankincense, and warm wood. VERTUS Oriental Rose wears the flower like a rich spiced fabric, not a transparent bouquet.
Lemon, bergamot, and lavandin open the composition brightly and aromatically. Saffron and clove almost immediately raise the temperature, so the citrusy start serves as a brief flash before a more serious warmth.
Neroli brings a floral freshness, while the rose in the center connects the spices with resins. Cypriol gives a dry, earthy edge, and olibanum and gurjun create a smoky balsamic quality around the petals.
