Oud de Burgas

Two people sit alone in the desert, under the stars, while a campfire opens up a new horizon. SANTI BURGAS Oud de Burgas builds this peace not with sweet amber, but with four facets of oud, dry wood, and orris root.

Madagascan clove and gurjun balsam open the Eau de Parfum spicy, smoky, and resinous. Cypriol then adds a dry earthy shade that immediately evokes the warmth of sand and burnt wood.

Cedarwood, guaiac, and orris root build the central texture. Cedar is straight and dry, guaiac lightly smoky, and iris introduces a cool powdery contrast to the fire.

Christian Carbonnel and Santi Burgas gather Suyufi oud and ouds from Laos and Bangladesh around the Indian character of the composition. The different agars provide layering without the need to be covered by vanilla or fruit.

Australian sandalwood later softens the edges and brings the wood closer to the skin. The clove settles, gurjun becomes warmer, and oud remains as deep as the night in which moonlight reflects in the eyes of the person next to you.

Oud de Burgas is not a loud desert king's perfume. It is Suyufi, Laotian, and Bangladeshi oud with iris, gurjun, and the glow of guaiac — silence under the stars where it is enough to be together.
