Angela Ciampagna builds the fragrance around Canary pine, a symbol of robust island nature known for its ability to recover after fires. This background suits its character: it is airy but has a solid woody heart at its core.
As it develops, sandalwood, vetiver, and patchouli smooth out the green sharpness. Oakmoss leaves a dry, classic trail, while sandalwood provides a softness that never becomes milky or sweet.
On the skin, the transition goes from peppery freshness through aromatic herbs to calm, clean wood. It's not for you if you want pine dense, dark, and resinous; here, Canary pine is airy and refined, almost like part of a well-tailored suit.
In the drydown, lavender still clings to the needles, and sandalwood calms the entire scene — a pine forest that has arrived from the island into a European salon, without losing the wind in its branches.
