Composed by Cristiano Canali
Purple here is not just a color, but the warmth of twilight, the reflection in a glass of rum and the scent of tobacco that lingers in the fabric. NEELA VERMEIRE PURPUREUM from the Fragments by NVC line is an intoxicating and mystical vision composed of dark flavors and textures.
Rum, coffee, and pepper open the composition with a warm, bitter, and spicy punch. Fig briefly introduces a fruity softness, but the scent quickly recedes back into the shadows.
Tobacco blends with cocoa, immortelle, and licorice, while magnolia introduces a subtle floral gleam through the density. Tonka softens the transitions without turning the composition into a dessert.
Leather, myrrh, and labdanum linger the longest. The drydown smells of coffee, leather, and tobacco, dark and smooth like purple velvet.
Purpureum is a 50 ml parfum signed by Cristiano Canali. It's for you if you love rum, tobacco, and leather with a bitter warmth; it's not if you're looking for a bright, fresh, or neatly airy perfume.
