Note

Peach Coconut Walnut Mandarin Amber Sandalwood Jasmine Vanilla Ice cream Musk

Composed by Christian Carbonnel

Peach pie arrived at court and refused to behave simply. SARAH BAKER Rococo Pie is an extrait where a creamy dessert acquires walnuts, jasmine, and sandalwood — ornate, rich, and deliberately excessive.

Mandarin and a rough coconut texture lend vibrancy to the peach pie impression. Walnut and creamy notes then take over the surface: one is dry and slightly bitter, the others melt like cream over warm pastry.

Christian Carbonnel doesn't allow the dessert to remain literal. Jasmine introduces floral opulence, and sandalwood gives it a polished woody depth, as if the served pie ended up in a room full of carved details.

On the skin, vanilla, amber, and musk thicken around the walnut. The fruity opening becomes quieter, while the creamy warmth and sandalwood remain for a long time, creating a luxurious, rounded trail.

If you like airy gourmand scents or find coconut and cream quickly tiring, this extrait will be too rich. Its elegance is not in restraint, but in how jasmine and wood hold the sumptuous sweetness together.

Rococo Pie finishes with a walnut pressed into vanilla cream, on a sandalwood platter — a dessert that needs every ornament precisely because it has too many.
