A rose doesn't have to enter a room with velvet curtains; it can arrive in a white shirt, still wet with dew. EAU D'ITALIE Rosa Greta chooses precisely such light romance, without sugary sweetness or old-fashioned powder.
Lychee and white tea open the composition gently, watery, and slightly fruity. Lychee provides a transparent pink sheen, while tea brings calmness and a dry edge that keeps it from becoming syrupy.
Fabrice Pellegrin combines a rosebud with a Damask rose infusion. One can feel the difference between a fresh, closed petal and a fuller flower: the duet has volume, but air constantly passes through it.
As it settles, cedarwood and ambrox create a clean, soft base. Cedar gently dries the rose, while ambrox extends its radiance and gives the impression of warm skin without a heavy amber base.
On the skin, it remains intimate and neat, more a whisper than a bouquet. If you like roses dark, spicy, or overtly sensual, Rosa Greta might be too thin for you; its strength lies in its airiness and precision.
In the finish, the Damask rose appears as a pale petal laid on cedarwood, with the last sip of white tea — romantic without a single red ribbon.
