Sérénade

This serenade doesn't begin under a window, but with a slice of grapefruit and a piece of mango. VERTUS Sérénade plays a bright citrus-fruity melody, then adds earth, moss, and resin beneath the flowers.

Bergamot, mandarin, and grapefruit lift the opening with a cheerful, tart radiance. Juniper makes it more aromatic and drier, while mango introduces a tropical richness without fully becoming a dense juice.

Vertus Paris combines osmanthus, lavender, and magnolia in the heart. Osmanthus continues the fruity theme with an apricot nuance, lavender introduces a neat aromatic line, and magnolia spreads everything with a soft white flower.

On the skin, patchouli, vetiver, and oakmoss bring the composition down to green earth. Labdanum, ambroxan, and musk add warmth, diffusion, and a resinous glow that lingers long after the citrus.

If you're looking for pure summer freshness or completely sweet mango, Sérénade won't stick to that simple line. Its fruit consciously ends up among moss and labdanum, with more structure than carelessness.

In the drydown, osmanthus still carries an echo of mango, but now over vetiver and moss — the last high note of the serenade heard only after the orchestra has already retreated.
