Honeycomb Cinnamon Clove Walnut Hazelnut Almond Coconut Milk Vanilla Praline Tonka Amber

Composed by Claude Dir

Here, baklava is not served on a plate but pours like gold over the skin. ZAHAROFF Signature Aurum is the brand's first gourmand composition, rich in walnuts and honey, yet resinous and spicy enough not to remain just a dessert.

A photo-realistic honeycomb absolute forms the backbone of the fragrance. Walnut, almond, and hazelnut with creamy coconut milk create the layered, flaky texture of baklava instead of a single flat sugar note.

Claude Dir reaches for a dessert whose roots go back to ancient times and gained its recognizable form in the Ottoman Empire. The idea is not to create the sweetest perfume, but to translate the tradition of pastry, nuts, and honey into a golden, wearable warmth.

Clove and cinnamon cut through the sweetness, while amber, vanilla, and tonka create a velvety, resinous base. On the skin, the honeycomb remains present from beginning to end, connecting all the layers.

If you don't like edible perfumes, Aurum, despite its spices, will be too rich for you. If you expect a light cookie, you'll be surprised by its amber-oil-like density and the raw, waxy side of honey.

In the dry down, walnut remains stuck to the honeycomb, with a golden sheen of vanilla and cinnamon — baklava without a plate, whose flaky layers are felt long after the first cut.
