Signature Seraphim Red

The midnight sea isn't cold when red amber burns beneath it. ZAHAROFF Signature Seraphim Red blends salty water, Aleppo pine, and pink pepper with creamy woods, serving as a darker, nocturnal counterpart to Seraphim Blue.

Pink pepper, eucalyptus, and Aleppo pine open the composition with a cool, spicy, and aromatic flourish. Eucalyptus expands the air, while pine casts a green shadow before the descent into the sea.

Claude Dir employs a marine-salty accord and red algae to evoke dark waters, not a bright daytime beach. The seraphim inspiration connects the contrasts of light and dark, celestial and corporeal, while the color red conveys the idea of desire and an abiding flame.

Orange blossom and ylang-ylang soften the salty heart. Then, creamy sandalwood, amber, and golden vetiver warm the skin, with white musk extending the final trail.

If you expect a pure aquatic or distinctly fresh pine, Red will be too warm and resinous for you. Its tension lies in the constant clash of marine coolness and an amber, almost glowing base.

Towards the end, red algae remains on warm sandalwood, with pink pepper like sparks above a black sea — nocturnal water where the fire never extinguishes.
