Smoking Hot by KILIAN PARIS doesn't smell like a photograph of smoke. It smells like a place where smoke actually happened.
Imagine a night out, dim lights, and the sweet cloud of hookah lingering in the air. At first, you can smell a juicy apple mixed with warm cinnamon, but it quickly becomes clear that Smoking Hot is not just another sweet apple perfume. Smoke is already smoldering in the background, and then what makes this KILIAN perfume so special emerges – rich Kentucky tobacco.
KILIAN PARIS Smoking Hot is directly inspired by the scent of shisha or apple-flavored hookah. Perfumer Mathieu Nardin combined this almost photorealistic accord with Kentucky tobacco absolute, moss, and an intensely rich bourbon vanilla. The result is a dark, warm, and sweet niche perfume, but with enough smoke that it never slips into a classic gourmand.
As time passes, the apple recedes, and the combination of tobacco and vanilla becomes smoother and more sensual. And that's where Smoking Hot works best: on the skin, several hours after application, when it's no longer clear where the smoke ends and the sweetness begins.
This is not a perfume you wear to go unnoticed. Smoking Hot has the character of a night out, a bar, the cold air after midnight, and clothes that still smell of the previous evening the next morning.
