A fragrance can smell of passionfruit, mandarin, and moss, without a single note acting as a sedative. HORMONE PARIS This is Not GABA builds the idea of silence through soft fruits, pale flowers, and warm amber.
Passionfruit and mandarin open the composition juicily, but without tropical loudness. Mandarin provides a bright glow, while passionfruit introduces a rounded acidity that keeps the opening lively.
Shadi Samra combines freesia, jasmine, and lily-of-the-valley in the middle. Freesia acts cleanly and airily, jasmine provides warmth, and lily-of-the-valley offers a cooler green freshness; no flower tries to take over the entire space.
On the skin, mossy and ambery notes gradually emerge from beneath the petals. Moss provides an earthy base, amber softness and warmth, making the scent more stable and closer to the body.
This is not GABA, nor a product with a pharmacological effect; the name is an olfactory metaphor for balance. If you want dense white flowers or sweet exotic passionfruit, this restrained composition will be too quiet for you.
In the drydown, mandarin remains on moss, with freesia in warm amber — a small, neat space where city noise is heard only as a distant hum.
