Composed by Shadi Samra
Good mood here doesn't smell of candy; it begins with bergamot and ends with oud, moss, and vetiver. HORMONE PARIS This is Not Serotonin envisions balance as a blend of light and serious earth.
Bergamot and geranium open the composition clear, green, and aromatic. The citrus lifts the opening, while geranium introduces a dry floral tone that already leans towards a woody structure.
Shadi Samra uses cypriol, nutmeg, and cedar in the middle. Cypriol provides an earthy, slightly smoky texture, nutmeg warmth, and cedar a clean vertical between the fresh opening and the dark base.
Moss, vetiver, and oud become more prominent on the skin, with amber adding a salty-warm depth. Bergamot doesn't completely fade; it remains as a thin reflection above the ground.
The name is not a claim that the perfume contains or alters serotonin. If you're looking for a directly bright citrus or sweet "happy" scent, the woody-mossy development might be too serious for you.
Towards the end, oud overgrown with moss remains, with vetiver at its root and bergamot as the last point of light — an optimism that stands firm, not floats.
