Before you see the tiger, you feel the darkness around you change. ZOOLOGIST Tiger builds that tension with earthy vetiver, golden citrus, and smoky wood — elegant, yet with a clear sense of a predator in the grass.

Kumquat, cardamom, and saffron open the composition tart, spicy, and golden. The kumquat flashes like an eye in the dark, while cardamom and saffron warm the air without a sweet fruity impression.

Cristiano Canali pairs jasmine sambac and frankincense with vetiver. Jasmine provides a sensual fullness, but smoke lingers at the edges, like a low growl that interrupts the night and puts an entire herd on alert.

On the skin, vetiver, papyrus, and ebony connect with carrot seeds, suede, and ambrette. The base is dry, rooty, and velvety, with enough smoke to keep the scene dark.

If you want a bright citrus vetiver or a soft suede scent, Tiger will be too intense and shadowy for you. It doesn't attack loudly; its power lies in sensing its presence before recognizing the source.
