Tinukai'i

Beneath sun-dried leaves hide rum, tobacco, and honey, like a story the forest has kept to itself for too long. SORTILÈGE Tinukai'i smells like a journey through golden wind, mist, and unknown trails towards an ocean slowly losing its green hue.

Tobacco leaf, propolis, and bushman candle open the composition dry, waxy, and resinous. Liatris adds a soft, hay-like warmth, like leaves rustling underfoot.

Rum and honey enter the wooden barrel, olibanum, and hay. Forest leaves, musk, and incense then give the composition a darker depth, while vanilla and muscovado sugar round off the rough edges.

On the skin, sweetness constantly blends with tobacco and cedar. If you want a pure boozy gourmand or smoky tobacco without honey, Tinukai'i will be too layered and dreamy for you.

In the drydown, propolis remains on an old barrel, along with muscovado, hay, and cedar — the golden wind turns the last leaf, but doesn't reveal the whole story.
