Tyrannosaurus Rex

Here, the perfume doesn't enter the room; it breaks through the wall with the scent of wildfire, resin, and metallic rose. ZOOLOGIST Tyrannosaurus Rex is a colossal creation for those for whom gentle woody scents have become too small.

Bergamot, black pepper, and fir open the composition sharply and aromatically, with laurel, neroli, and nutmeg. The freshness is short-lived as the air already carries the smoke of a Cretaceous landscape.

Antonio Gardoni arranges primitive flowers — champaca, geranium, jasmine, osmanthus, rose, and ylang-ylang — against charred wood. The flowers are not delicate; they grow under heat, fires, and lightning in a world ruled by giants.

Resins, cade, and frankincense lead to cedar, leather, patchouli, and sandalwood. Civet provides an animalistic jolt, and vanilla just a thin sweet shadow. Civet and leather are synthetically derived, without animal products.

On the skin, smoke and resin remain aggressive for a long time. If you are looking for a discreet perfume, light incense, or a neat floral amber, T-Rex is not for you; its purpose is to fascinate and threaten in the same breath.

In the drydown, charred cedar, metallic rose, and a civet trail remain under a red sky — the predator still roars, but fire from space already signals the end of its reign.
