In the Slavic winter forest, smoke doesn't just rise from a fire; it emanates from birch tar, honey, and black leather. WOLF BROTHERS Veles is an eau de parfum of dark myth, spicy at the opening and deeply resinous in the finish.

Ginger, saffron, and rhubarb open the composition sharply, warmly, and tartly. Rhubarb provides a red cut, while saffron immediately introduces a dry leathery nuance.

Cyrill Rolland places honey and smoke at the center. The honey is neither bright nor floral; it clings to labdanum and patchouli, like a golden resin that has collected ash from a ritual fire.

On the skin, birch tar, leather, and oud connect with tonka and amber. Tar gives a black, burnt edge, oud depth, and tonka just enough softness to keep the whole scene wearable.

If you want a light smoke or a sweet honey perfume, Veles will be too tarry and leathery for you. Its atmosphere deliberately remains wintery, mystical, and close to the ground, without fresh forest air.

Towards the end, honey remains on charred birch, with rhubarb as a red spark and oud under the skin — a shadowy Slavic god who does not emerge from the forest to introduce himself.
