Composed by Ulrich Lang

In Mesopotamian mythology, Apsu is the vast body of fresh water beneath the earth. ULRICH LANG NEW YORK APSU translates that idea into a watery green morning, without the blue bottle and sporty character.

Green leaves and bergamot act like wet grass under the first light. Coriander, violet leaf, and pink pepper bring a crisp, somewhat unusual freshness that might remind one of a crushed unripe banana leaf, but it doesn't become fruity.

White tea, water lily, and iris calm the initial greenness. Jasmine remains airy, and the entire scent behaves more like a clean layer of air on the skin than a dense perfume composition.

White musk and cedar give it body, while frankincense and amber leave a discreet warmth. The sillage is soft and close to the skin, but persistent enough so that the greenness isn't lost after the first wave.

APSU comes as a 100 ml Eau de Toilette, under the creative direction of founder Ulrich Lang. It will suit you if you like wet leaves, white tea, and calm freshness; it won't if you're looking for a marine perfume with strong projection. APSU doesn't smell like bottled water, but like the moment when nature has just awakened.

Fragrantica

So wet and green. It reminds me of freshly cut grass, still damp with morning dew, and peeling a firm, green banana. It's soothing, fresh, and bright.
