Bergamot Mint Lavender Sage Musk Patchouli

Composed by L.T. Piver

A prince, statesman, and dandy in the mid-19th century could not afford to appear lost, even as regimes around them constantly changed. L.T. PIVER Eau des Princes smells of such disciplined freshness.

Mint and bergamot open the composition cold and clear. Lavender and sage immediately provide an aromatic solidity, without a sweet or watery impression.

Musk softens the sharp edges of the herbs, while patchouli brings an earthy depth. The freshness thus does not remain superficially clean; it gains a darker foundation and a more serious demeanor.

Around 1850, France went through revolutions, empire, restoration, monarchy, and republic. L.T. Piver survived thanks to quality that attracted a refined, predominantly male clientele from the world of politics and power.

The contemporary interpretation adds the woody depth of ambrox and cashmeran but retains mint, sage, and lavender as the main expression. On the skin, the initial coolness gradually transitions into a dry, musky-patchouli trail.

Eau des Princes is not a modern "blue" freshness for the gym. It is mint, sage, and patchouli under a perfectly buttoned coat — the scent of a man who knows that power can change by morning.

One user particularly highlighted the addictive citrus-menthol and oceanic opening and that the fragrance is worthy of being a signature scent.
