Hard Techno

The Roland 303 doesn't sound smooth; it rips, scratches, and makes your body move. MIGUEL MATOS Hard Techno attempts to translate that rough texture into a scent of smoke, synthetics, dust, lasers, and sweaty people dancing until morning.

Smoke and cumin create a carnal, chemical, and spicy opening. There’s no fresh air of the club before opening; you immediately enter the moment when the space is already full.

Iris introduces a cold powdery layer, while vanilla adds a strange sweetness. With synthetic smoke, they act like makeup and plastic heated under the lights.

Miguel Matos finds inspiration in a Lisbon venue he discovered in November 2021. There, he started dancing regularly again and, through a DJ, got to know hard techno as a weekly ritual.

Sandalwood, musks, and wood later create a warm, animalic base. The formula is 99.9 percent synthetic, which here is not a compromise but the only logical way to recreate the sound, laser, and chemical air.

Hard Techno is not just a perfume that bears the name of a music genre. It is disco smoke, cumin, powdery iris, and sweet musk over the rough pulse of the Roland 303 — a night that ends long after sunrise.
