Héliodose

Sunscreen here blended with crushed green stems, overripe flowers, and the humid skin of a summer evening. MARLOU Héliodose, a solar perfume, depicts an oily, animalic, and white-hotel-towel-free experience.

Galbanum opens the composition sharp, bitter, and green. It smells like a freshly cut stem whose milky sap immediately stays on your fingers.

Tiaré then brings a sunny, creamy florality, but indole pushes it towards overripe and bodily. The flower simultaneously recalls an oily macerate, lotion, and skin warmed all day long.

Stéphanie Bakouche works with only four listed materials, yet she extracts ripe fruit, humid opulence, and an almost leathery texture from them. A simple list here does not mean a simple scent.

The musk blends with the indole in the drydown, creating a greasy, chalky trail. The galbanum becomes quieter, but its green bitterness remains beneath the warm tiaré.

Héliodose is not an elegant solar flower for a private beach. It is tiaré in an oily lotion, over indole, musk, and a broken galbanum stem — summer when the sun has already clung to your skin.
