Nohiba

Mémoire is delighted to present Nohiba, the latest release from L.T. Piver. This is the first 30% perfume oil extract in the brand's collection. Nohiba is a name deeply rooted in the history of L.T. Piver. The original formula dates back to 1868, from the time of Alphonse Piver, and is one of the rare compositions the house has carefully preserved throughout its long history.

Created during a period when Europe was fascinated by distant cultures and lost civilizations, Nohiba was not conceived as a fragrance that could be easily categorized.

Above all, it creates an atmosphere – dark, lavish, and somewhat enigmatic. The opening brings the warmth of cinnamon refreshed by juicy mandarin. In the heart, a rich rose unfolds, enveloped by the smoky character of olibanum and the sensual texture of leather. The finish is deep and long-lasting: vanilla and amber bring warmth and fullness, while papyrus gives the composition a dry, woody, and almost mystical character. The result is a highly characteristic composition that combines the historical splendor of French perfumery with the intensity of a modern extrait de parfum.
