Pine

There's no enigma, no hidden dessert, no exotic tale: this is pine. STORA SKUGGAN Pine takes a single listed note and crafts an entire space from it, green, resinous, and pointed straight towards the canopy.

Pine appears without a citrusy introduction and without a floral curtain. The impression is sharp, aromatic, and clean, like when you crush needles between your fingers and their resin remains on your skin.

Tomas Hempel doesn't build a complex pyramid here. The idea is deliberately minimalistic, almost stubborn: to show how many different textures one recognizable coniferous note can carry when nothing distracts from it.

On the skin, the initial green sharpness becomes drier and woodier. An impression of bark and warm resin appears, not because the perfume changes its theme, but because green pine reads differently up close than in the air.

This is not a fragrance for someone looking for a sweet forest, creamy sandalwood, or a composition that shows a new face every half hour. Its appeal lies in its persistence and a clear, almost graphic line.

Pine ends where it began, just closer to the body: like a few pine needles warmed in the palm of your hand, with a trace of resin that refuses to become anything else.
