Tabacco Smeraldo

Violet leaf and oakmoss open cool, green, and damp. Black pepper introduces a dry cut through them, preparing the space for tobacco leaf without the usual boozy sweetness.

Miguel Matos wasn't looking for a new concept for the sake of novelty; he wanted to make his own version of a note that has long existed in perfumery. That's why everything goes back to tobacco as a plant, its color, and its fibrous surface.

Narcissus provides a floral bitterness, while tobacco, wood, and leather build a solid heart. Vanilla and musk warm the base, but they do not turn the green leaf into a sweet cigar.

On the skin, the extract gradually transitions from emerald dampness to drier wood and leather. If you're looking for smoky tobacco, honey, rum, or dessert vanilla, Tabacco Smeraldo will not fulfill that image; it insists on the living leaf.

In the drydown, green tobacco remains on moss, with a hint of pepper and a trace of vanilla alongside leather — emerald is not an embellishment in the name, but the color of the entire idea.
