Fir balsam, Scots pine, and raspberry open the extract resinous, fresh, and tart. Raspberry flashes through the conifers before the full weight of the white flower emerges.

Miguel Matos considers tuberose one of his favorite notes to work with because its individual facets can be hidden or overemphasized. Here, he wants to make the flower gender-neutral, without losing its strong and opulent core.

The high amount of natural absolute makes the formula the most expensive in his line. Tuberose, cypress, and Virginian cedar merge on the skin into a juicy, resinous, and almost sticky green cloud.

Ambergris, musk, civet, and caramel later add animalic warmth and sweetness. If you want a clean, femininely creamy tuberose, this forest and civet will be too rough for you; if you don't like the flower, the wood won't hide it.

In the end, tuberose coated in fir resin and caramel remains, with a civet pulse beneath the cedar — reshaped to the limit, but still unmistakably itself.
