A journey around the world can fit between a peppercorn and a piece of sandalwood. L.T. PIVER Un Parfum d'Aventure follows the house's international history through spices and precious woods, without souvenir-like sweetness.
Pink pepper, bergamot, and clove open the composition radiantly, spicy, and warm. Bergamot provides a brief brightness, while clove immediately introduces a dry, almost burning depth.
The fragrance was first introduced in 1863 during the Second Empire, and in 1931, it was re-introduced as a reflection of 20th-century progress. Today's interpretation pays homage to the cultures L.T. Piver encountered during its international expansion.
Nutmeg and cinnamon form a warm spicy heart. Cedar, sandalwood, and vetiver then provide a soft, dry base that slowly expands on the skin rather than remaining sharp.
If you're looking for fresh bergamot or a sweet oriental perfume, Aventure will be drier and woodier. It's not a map of one specific country; it's more a historical idea of travel seen from a house that has long crossed borders.
In the drydown, nutmeg remains in sandalwood, with clove and vetiver at the edge of an old suitcase — an adventure that doesn't bring a postcard, but the scent of wood from many ports.
