A strobe light cuts through the frankincense smoke, techno beats in the chest, and the cold industrial space becomes warm with bodies. MIGUEL MATOS Unfold is an extract of a ritual in which metal, latex, and moss slowly open to the spirit.

Aldehydes, cassis, and metallic notes open the composition brightly, coldly, and sharply. Latex introduces a synthetic, bodily surface, while violet and lavender let a pale color through an industrial frame.

Miguel Matos builds a path from light to darkness to the rhythm of techno. The crowd in the industrial temple becomes one body; cold turns to hot, physical to spiritual, and freedom and joy take the form of a communal ritual.

Hedione and magnolia spread through the air before fir balsam, frankincense, and oud take over. Cypriol, moss, and coumarin create a dark, dry base through which smoke still passes.

On the skin, latex and metal gradually melt into resin and moss. If you want a pure floral extract or a calm frankincense, Unfold will be too industrial and physical for you; its meaning is heard in repetition.

In the end, olibanum smoke remains under the strobe light, with latex on the skin and fir in the darkness — the beat has stopped, but the body still knows the next move.
