Collection: Le Galion

Le Galion is a historic French perfume house founded in Paris in 1930 by Prince Murat. A pivotal moment came in 1935 when perfumer Paul Vacher took over the house and transformed it into one of the distinguished names in French haute perfumery. Under his leadership, Sortilège, Snob, Brumes, and Bourrasque were created, compositions characterized by high-quality natural raw materials and a precise classical structure.

Vacher also left his mark outside his own house, notably as the creator of Dior perfumes like Miss Dior and Diorling. Le Galion achieved international success before gradually losing its former strength after being sold in 1980, but its place in French perfume history remained clear. On the skin, Le Galion exudes the measured elegance of a time when perfume had to have structure, not just a strong first impression.
