Collection: Santi Burgas

An ant as a symbol of a perfume house is already a good sign that something unusual awaits you. Santi Burgas was founded in 2008 in Catalonia by Santiago Burgas Bou, an artist with a background in art and textile design. His native region, Costa Brava and the Empordà area, remained an important source of inspiration. Ideas originate in Torroella de Montgrí, in a space the brand calls its "ant colony," while perfumes are produced in Barcelona.

Burgas is drawn to nature, history, and the animal world, and approaches perfumes with the investigative freedom of an artist. In the Lôant collection, he finds inspiration precisely in the scent communication of ants: perfumes can be worn individually or combined with each other to create new olfactory combinations. He created the Palindrome and Primal Waters collections with perfumer Rodrigo Flores-Roux, further expanding this world of unusual ideas, and some creations were also done by Chris Maurice / Cristian Carbonnel, known as the perfumer behind the Xerjoff brand.

From Mediterranean landscapes to more abstract concepts, Santi Burgas invites experimentation without too many predefined rules. It is an interesting choice for those who like to explore and find their perfume in a somewhat roundabout way.
