DER DUFT is an independent German niche perfume house founded by Anselm Skogstad, a fragrance enthusiast and photographer born in Munich, now based in Berlin. He was educated in San Francisco and New York and worked alongside photographers and institutions such as Christopher Makos, David LaChapelle, and Magnum Photos. During photographic projects in Asia, he rediscovered his passion for perfumes, while his time in Grasse allowed him to gain a deeper understanding of their creation and production. DER DUFT views fragrance as a complete work of art, not just the sum of individual notes. Combining tradition and contemporary creativity, the house creates layered, impressive compositions in collaboration with perfumers such as Nathalie Feisthauer, Prin Lomros, Miguel Matos, Antonio Alessandria, Anne-Sophie Behaghel, and Freddie Albrighton. Each perfume is conceived as a personal and expressive experience for true fragrance lovers.
