Collection: Toskovat'

Toskovat' is a Romanian avant-garde niche perfume house founded in Bucharest in 2022 by David-Lev Jipa-Slivinschi. A former film student, he chose perfumery as a new medium for storytelling, without the obligation for compositions to be simply pleasant. The house calls its fragrances Extraits de Mémoire — extracts of memory that preserve feelings, experiences, and personal stories.

The name derives from the Slavic term toska, a deep yearning associated with nostalgia and spiritual unrest. The cinematic structure, unconventional accords, and provocative themes allow the collection to speak about childhood, loss, war, love, and memory without embellishment. On the skin, Toskovat' does not faithfully reconstruct a memory but brings back the emotional trace it left behind.
